Just realized I built a boat in the basement (updated with pix)

...got my HD44 centered up on the Gladiator, sitting on 2" wide and sorta tall Tad perches...bottom of the disks are about 8" from the floor and the top of the cab is even with the lowest part of the garage ceiling at the door. Oops!

Anyone pulled a stupid like this? Not worried..have a heavy jack, can strap it to that, pour some atf on the concrete and drag it out with the other jeep to clear then put the wheels on. pretty funny tho..

Way back when, I moved up here to go to collage, that place I moved in to had under ground parking, so I pull in, we do the unload thing of all my junk, and low an behold the Suburban is to tall to get out
I had to load up everyone I could find into the truck, to get it to clear
Make a Home Depot (was a Knox but they are gone), to buy some paving stones to line the back end, drove around for a
couple years with the load of bricks in the back, I think I still have some of them kicking arund to this day

I have a 12 foot door on my shop now because my old mud truck wouldn't fit out the door on my old garage.

Yes he did. His land lord came and helped him knock down a wall to get the new contraption out. I think Henry was a little behind on the rent to boot.

In 1987, Road and Track called the Grand Wagoneer "one of the most capable off-roaders going" and "a first-rate off-roader and inclement weather vehicle AMC has honed close to perfection." It also called the interior "truly grand."

I have the same problem. But my shop isn't to small but my jeep is too big! SOA with 4in lifts springs up front and in boarded springs in the rear with 2in AAL. My rotors be 3in from the ground and the cab don't clear the door by about 5in.....

Wasn't there a urban legend of NASA getting a missile on a flatbed stuck
under a overpass? They couldn't figure out how to remove it.

Then a boy in a passing car, yell out " let the air out of the tires "

He must have been a great forward thinker. To have a garage before he built his first car.
