Pictures like that remind me all the more how great a good cowl hood would go with our FSJs.

Great looking truck! Was there a reason not to extend the air box to the windshield? I have read this is a better cold air option than snorkels through the radiator support or under/behind the bumper. Nice roof rack, too, and yeah we are all partial to rhinos! What else have you done? More pics, please!

Is the cowl functional? It looks as if the rear raised part of cowl is welded shut. I t just to change the air flow to the existing cowl vents?

may be wrong but in the 5th pic it looks like the metal is about to come out to open it up, like the cuts are outlined

Yes It is full closed by metal sheet because of my opinion about an off road truck and i think it is more safe for my 401.

The first function is getting free the top of my raised engine with performer, truck avenger and 1 inch spacer .

The second is more air traveling under the hood(we have hot summers)

And then ... Just look at it!!

That Cherokee is flawless... It's clean, sharp and with that grill matched to that cowl... it's simply a thing of Beauty.
How much is the cowl lifted? It looks to be around 3" to 4". Do you guys do any lead work?
Great job, that makes me want to go out and start cutting my hood up.

very very nice Frzad, I am already looking for an extra hood to try this out. I would cut mine out for the air flow as I have a street machine.
