Keeping the Jeep!

Well as some of you know i recently had the jeep up for sale. At this point in my life my fiance and I really could use a truck more than a wheeler. So i decided to sell the jeep and then get a truck. Well as fate would have it, her father owns a small propane business and a work on the side for him. Recently i removed the flatbed and crane off one of his 74 1ton dually service trucks. The other day, he asked if i wanted it, well of course i did, and he just gave it to me! So now i can keep the jeep and we got the truck we need! Man i love it when things work out like this I've been driving the jeep alot this weekend trying to put some miles on the cam and its been driving better than ever.

Congrats man! I know how that feels, I needed a car more than a jeep and had it up for sale to get a gas-sipper. (not to mention something with a good engine) Lo and behold, both an engine and an old nissan practically fall into my lap.

I wonder if maybe a certain higher power has a soft spot for FSJs...

That's great! It seems a few of us were considering selling our Wags because we needed a truck. In my case I came across a cheap J10 and I am thrilled to keep the other one... Congratulations! Glad it worked out for you too.
