Worked from about 10:00AM-9:30PM
Went up to Jonesboro today to pick up the manual seat brackets from Jeff (thepartsguy on GFSJ). Ended up getting an emergency brake cable (front), stock fog lights, steering column, and glovebox lock/cylinder. All for the sweet price of nothing. Thanks Jeff!
After that we cleaned up and painted the brackets and installed them. Started installing seats, but it got dark and only got part of passenger seat installed.
Tried to replace rear pinion seal but couldn't get the yoke nut out (no impact driver....tried it with a 1/2" breaker bar - bad idea).
Pulled rear wheels and attached brake lines.
My dad made some patches for the holes in interior panels and seats where power switches and what not are.
My mom was and still is polishing up my wheels - getting ready to put them on.
Cleaned up the fog lights and test fit them (need to run wiring).
Got the windshield down from attic and I am about to clean it up.
Test fit rear panels.
No pictures right now. Sorry. Rich is supposed to come over tomorrow to finalize engine crap. Hopefully that will work. Got a LOT to do and very very little time to do it. I present my Jeep Thursday at 6:55PM. I don't think it will be driving....not enough time.
We will see.

Got lots done today - 11:00AM to 9:00PM.
Passenger seat installed.
Engine running decently well - still some tuning to do.
Steering gear box replaced with newer, less leaky (hopefully) one.
"New" wheels polished and installed - much higher and better stance.
Removed, sanded, and painted red the hood latch bar (it posed a threat to health since it blended in, so I figured I would make it easier to see.
Removed hood insulation (need to reattach it with something different - kept falling down).
New headlights and trim rings installed.
Parking lights installed.
Passenger door panel installed. Rear passenger area panels halfway installed.
Taillight lenses and bulbs installed.
Door weatherstripping and door trim installed.

Video of engine running today - starts right up at the turn of the key :

Presented tonight. I think it went well. I stayed within time constraints and the ol' girl decided to fire right up for the judges.
Still more work to do even though the school portion is done.

Been doing work over the past few days but end of the school year business has detracted from my thread-keeping up prowess.
So here is a rough update that lacks pictures:
Steering column innards replaced (painted the shell black and the steering wheel gray - on the lookout for a cordovan steering wheel) with a later model GW's insides.
Driver's seat installed - one bolt needs some fixing.
Front bumper reinstalled with Marchal lights that I got from a GFSJ member. Not hooked up for now.
Brake lines from MC to PV installed (new MC and PV installed also). Bled the brake system - fun. They work though.
Installed cowl vent with new seal from TGW.
Replaced lug nuts (only had 12/24) with new ones.
That is all I can think of for now. The to do list is short but is fairly daunting:
Fix light and gauge wiring (Lights are kind of crazy right now. When headlight switch is turned on the first level, no headlights, side markers, parking lights, and brake lights come on but passegner's parking light is dimmer than driver's. When the switch is all the way out/on the headlights are on, and all of the previous stuff is the same. Brake lights always on is an issue when nothing happens when the pedal is pushed. No turn signals whatsoever. No gauges. So lots of work to do there).
Clutch - adjustment, blah blah
Fix one seat bolt.
Reinstall hood insulation.
Install air cleaner (need to find stud that goes into carburetor )
Install shifter boots.
That is all I can think of for the to do list. Other than a test drive... . Yea right...lots more will pop up I'm sure. I'll snap a shot of her as she sits for kicks in a bit.

Thanks Ristow.
Just wanted to add to the above list that I need to fix a leak on the passenger valve cover. Might take them of and retouch the paint cause they got scratched up from the last time.

Thanks brubakes!
Got license plate, registration, and insurance . Hoping to finish up this weekend and put her on the road.
My parents were worried about adding it, but the cost was -$91. Yes. negative $91. Apparently they have it valued really low - only liability for now. Planning to get another company to appraise and insure it. I forgot the company name but they specialize in restorations/buildups.

Thanks guys!
This weekend we got all the lights working. Turn signals work, headlights work, side markers work, and brake lights work. Fog lights are wired up now and we just need to pick up some bulbs.
Seat is finished now, got a glovebox latch installed; basically everything is done except:
Clutch problems. We had the rear up on jackstands and had the transfer case in 2WD. If you push the clutch in and pull it into first it engages, even with the clutch in. If you release the clutch and then push it back in, it stays in gear. Ideas? Don't really wanna pull the clutch. No fun.

you don't have enough thrown on your fork or you need to adjust the linkage out more. Do you have the correct throw out bearing?

I think the linkage is about as far as it goes. I'm assuming it is the right throwout bearing. A mechanic friend ordered it for me.
Schools out next Friday - then I can start to dig and figure it out.
Thanks for suggestions.
Edit:
I have been meaning to throw up a more recent and "whole" picture. Here is one from yesterday:
Hopefully my last "free" summer can bring some good things for the Jeep - maybe it will be driving by next year .

Could just be the disc rusted to the flywheel or pressure plate. Try it after you have slipped the clutch a little with the wheels on the ground.
Shiny Side Up!

I don't see how that could be it. Flywheel was just machined, so no rust and it has been covered since it was installed. Can't hurt though.
