Interesting Sight

This morning I was driving my 76 Chief and pulled up to a traffic light. Only 3 vehicles were at the light my '76, a '99 Cherokee, and an '07 Cherokee. I wish there had been someone behind us with a camera. It was neat seeing the difference between the three generations of Cherokee with no other cars around to block the view.

big difference is that 23 years from now, neither of those Jeeps will be still on the road, like yours is today.

I dunno. I'm starting to see some "nostalgia" and love for the 93 GC platform. For people who want an older Jeep,4 doors, cargo space and creature comforts but don't want a carb, a ZJ is the way to go.

(Did I really just say that! )

To think...I helped a guy load up a dresser in a ZJ last year. I thought that cargo space in ZJ was terrible.

I dunno about that either. I watched a C-6 Vette lose stoplight to stoplight to a Cherokee SRT8. I got a feeling that the hemi powered new cherokees will see action for MANY years. They are an impressive drive too.

Actually, I wouldn't mind maybe having a '93 GW

Correction, Ryan = 33 years from now!

And I'd take mine over either of them, any time!

I had a ZJ. It was the reason for me getting an FSJ.

That would be cool to see the "growth" of the cherokee all at one stoplight.

I remember a few years ago when I plowed snow commercially. I was using a '74 Cj-5 for the small driveways, came to a culdesac that had a old fairlane, and an old british sports car, can't remember what it was. All red in color. With the 2 feet of snow on the ground I bet that could have been a cool post card or something. haha.

I also went from a ZJ to a FSJ. They are pretty impressive on and offroad I followed a couple friends in my stock ZJ to areas I thought I could never go and they both had pretty agressive offroad trucks. They were both impressed with the ZJ.
