Help...1969 Gladiator Headers
I have recently aquired a 1969 Gladiator with a buick 350. It came to me with a set of long tube headers installed. They fit perfectly and clear the clutch linkage. However they have very large rust holes. I am looking for a new set, but of course it is not as simple as calling Summit and ordering headers for a 69 Gladiator. Does anyone know what headers will work?? From pictures it looks like headers for a 1968 Buick Grand Sport with a 350 might work. Please Help.

Welcome from Fort Wayne, Indiana!
I think it was reported here a long time ago, that large Buick car headers work well.
If I recall, the Buick car engine bay is smaller and a tighter fit that a FSJ's engine bay.
So the FSJ has plenty of room for the car style header.
Some FSJ Buick enthusiasts, like TAD, could speak to the details of this and confirm what I believe.

I've never had headers on a B350 in a FSJ, I think MacJeeper from SoCal does though.

I would try to find out which brand the headers are... If you post pics I may be able to identify them. The only Buick 350 headers made other than custom are for 68-72 Buick Skylarks although they also fit in other buicks and trucks. There are 2 manufacturers of these headers (Hooker and TA performace) and 2 more that do not make them anymore (Postons Buick and Kenne Bell)...
I also have a line on some flanges... i am currently working on making a set of SBC shorty headers into Buick 350 headers by welding the flanges for a Buick on to the SBC headers.

I talked to TA the other day while ordering oil pump parts and he said that he had flanges there as well.
