7 AZ FSJ'ers showed up for the event. 5 brought their FSJ's. We set up a table and chairs in the parking lot, ate burgers/pizza/brownies, checked out the FSJ's and enjoyed stories and real life chat. It was a dang good time!

Next month there will be a trail ride on the 21st and a Meet and Greet at Kevin and Kirsten's home on the 14th. Keep your eye on the events forum.

Pics are below. Feel fee to comment.

Thanks for sharing Tom.

Wish I could have made it. One of these time I'll actually make it down for one of these.

At least I recognize 4 out of the 5 Jeeps....

Just saw this thread. Tom, great pics as always. I had a great time and, as always, it was informative. I learned my 82 Cherokee has the same tail lights as grand wagoneers and that that is correct for the model year!

Really nice! Is that a SOA lift? Who owns it? I need to ask some questions.

I have an FJ Cruiser in VooDoo Blue as well as my J Trucks. The FJ cruiser is a a FAR SUPERIOR and Much more capable 4x4 then my J10. Been there, done this, I know. It is an absolutely AWSOME machine. I could put a 10 year olf giggling little girl in the drivers seat of an FJ and tell her to follow "that guy" up a Black Diamond trail and there will be no issues. The onboard computer system, the drive train working in concert is simply awsome.
I have toyota rock rails, and ARB bumper w/ winch and I added a frame to frame metal hitch and incorporated the OE hitch into it, basically I wrapped mny wife in steel. Eventually I will make her a full cage as well, AFTER I do the lift.

Ahhh Hummm....Cough.Cough.....

The FJ is the WIFES It takes a MAN to properly run a FSJ... Espically w/ a 401/NP205 Twin Stick and ATTITUDE Ha!

(PS, go to a FJ Cruiser Trail Teams deal and DRIVE an FJ, IN Four Wheel Drive and learn about it and see what ya think... )

HA! Sounds like they drive themselves... what's the fun in that????

I like the FJ's, I like the look. I never sat in one. My buddy works at a Yota dealer and says they are very off road worthy. Certainly if you compared a stock FJ to a stock waggy, the FJ is probably the better truck. Of course, it has 20 years of updated technology and costs a bit more...

For what I have invested in my Cherokee I would go toe to toe with a FJ. If it's a stock FJ, I would leave it in my dust.

Especially when both are fully packed for camping...
