Glad everyone is home OK. I have the shortest trip and may have had the biggest problem. This is how I maded it home, the trail rig became the tow rig for about 40 Miles .

About 5 Miles out of cruces, the newly installed 401 started to spew out oil from the timing chain cover , Looks like my job of re-assembling the 401 was below par . Looks like I just need to remove, re-seal and re-install the cover (and all components attached). The leak seems to be from a bad seal on the gasked and probably caused by not applying proper torque to all of the bolts on the cover. So probably a one day setback.

details on the electrical meltdown

An oil pressure switch can short power to ground and start your fun times with melted wire. Micheal pretty well had this nailed.

AND... I still laugh my butt off every time I think about that big freakin rock!

our PC at home is pissin me off - have not been able to watch photobucket vids for a couple months. I need to take some time at work and look at your vids Michael. I can only catch about 10 seconds at home and it locks up... Firefox and IE and running latest flash plug in. We had real winter like weather this week and I was thinking a few times about the nice t-shirt weather we were having the week of the Enchilada.
