New toy for the GW to pull!

This might belong in off-topic but I havent been around long enough to get in there! Im pulling the camper with my GW so maybe it qualifies here. Gonna take my 3 kids camping down to the beach this weekend. Bought an old pop-up camper for the trip. I REALLY couldnt stand the way it looked...my sons Radio Flyer had bigger tires! Well a new axle, springs, fenders, wheels and tires and I'm ready to go!! One before and a couple after shots...

Very nice. It looks like it's supposed to be pulled behind the GW now.

Thanks guys! Its a '76 Starcraft Starlight probably around 12" lift, 27x9.50x14 General Grabbers. Kids dont even know about it yet. Did all the work at my neighbors. Gonna set it up in the driveway today so they see it when they get home. They should be excited---gonna pull them out of school early tomorrow and head out! Been talkin REALLY sweet to the waggy and changed the oil yesterday!

Nice! Looks like my old Rockwood. I have a Starcraft now. I was thinking of giving it a little lift too. Watch that first step.

Now just make that Swoop on the side wood grain and you are set.

That looks sweet......

That first pic looks like you're pulling an anti-gravity equipped trailer.

Make sure to take pics of it set-up. I have a pop-up and just can't imagine my levelers reaching the ground with those tires on it!!

I had a '66 Apache pop-up that would look cool like that. You've got some lucky kids. They'll remember this surprise forever.

Well my kids are bouncing off the walls! This is gonna be an adventure...just me and 3, 5 and 8 year olds! Cant wait!

I already have a larger "swoop" in the works with woodgrain to match the waggy...nice to have a buddy who owns a sign shop!

The levelers are about a foot short. Using blocks now to compensate. Extending the factory levelers is part of the winter project list I have for the camper!
