1979 J10. 4.2 Ran fine, then I shut it off.

So, I was driving around the yard after the truck sat for about 3 weeks. It was running good, then I shut it off. Turned the key to fire her back up, and nothing. Then, none of the lights would work. Now nothing. Is there a main fuse or something? Any ideas would be great.

Thanks!!

Did you check to make sure the cables are tight and clean?

First thing I checked. I hooked it up to my car with jumpers, and still nothing.

Could also possibly be the ignition switch or voltage regulator.

It sounds a lot like a bad connection or wire that finally let go. Best bet is to see where you have power and keep probing until you find the place you don't.
