some pics of my new grill and grill guard

I finally got the new grill and grill guard on my GW. It is slowly coming together. Now the 1986 GW looks like my J truck from the front. And yes I have a new GW at the end its a 1986, of course its dark blue. I just need to do something with the green one its an outcast.

that's a nice grill guard - some sort of aftermarket? Or did you find it on one of these rigs?

Blue Mistress

Nice looking line-up.

Funny how the chrome is different style than black ones? Or is picture just throwing me?

Its a aftermarket grill, when I bought the one for my truck the guy showed me where he got it out of the J.C. Whitney catalog. I am pretty sure now they don't sell them anymore though. That was a few years ago. I picked up the grill and grill guard at the local junkyard off of a Cherokee.

My '88 GW has the same grill and factory guard as my '77 J-10.

Yours looks great.

looks great... i just got my first GW, an 87, today... your lineup is impressive!

don't wanna hijack this thread but your post and looking at all of those Jeeps got me to thinking: what grills, grill guards (and bumpers) are interchangeable for my 87 GW? I would love to find something in a junkyard, especially a grill guard and maybe tougher front and rear bumpers...

peace.

Cool Jeep farm you got going there, Danny, what did you use for seed, and how long till harvest? I'm gonna go bury a Dana 27 and see if a Gladiator sprouts. Nice grill/guard combo, matched pair even, got the Marschals, Good Score! I don't know the right name for your aluminum rims, but you have definitely cornered that market! My wife asked me just now what I was doing, I told her I was taking in some "real man's porn." She laughed and figured it was cars, so she looked at your pics and said "they all look alike." Then she said "he has some serious property there." Then she asked if you were married. I laughed so hard my ribs hurt and my back is out again.

That's why I live out in the country on 20 acres, no restrictions, wouldn't have it any other way. Luke reading your post made me laugh, my wife thinks I need to put some Roundup out there to stop them growing.

Talking All reporting..

All reporting for duty. Nice line up. When do you find time to drive them all.

There are small children starving all over the world for Wagoneers. You should be ashamed of yourself.

man and i thought i had too many jeeps, the most ive had at one point was 3 grand wagoneers, a j10, a comanche, and my wrangler of course, but live in a sububan neighborhood where if you have a different tree then what youre suppose to have you get a complaint letter sent(that soon ended when we found out who was making the complaints ) so with that i have to pay almost $300 in storage a month have full garage and still have cars sitting in the driveway, (only complaint i got about the cars was when i had a trailer parked in the driveway for a few days)
