Did values go up?

Just wondering. Had to get an appraisal on the waggy today. Using it as collateral on a loan . Figured maybe $500-$600 since they won't use full value. Approx. 60% for the year. They looked it up in their black book, made a list of accessories, took several pictures while looking it over and made a couple of phone calls. They were surprised that all the power windows worked including the rear and sunroof. Now bear in mind the paint got ruined by "something" that looked like water, the cheap woodgrain got messed up from the hail storm and I couldn't get all the dents out when the tree tried to kill it (twice). I was a little shocked and had them repeat it. With the percentage of full estimated value I could borrow $1500! Course it didn't hurt the managers husband is a hard core off road jeep guy.
