About 6 years ago I got a 4 core from Checker with a lifetime warranty. I have about 4-5 of them around the yard and just grab one from the yard and take it in for exchange. I HIGHLY suggest the warranty if you can find it.

Forgot to mention, it cost be about $250 back then, but is priceless now being unemployed...

I got 1 from RockAuto last year, IIRC it was under $200 with shipping.

However it had all kinds of solder slag in it, took me forever to get it out.
Called and they said that was not a warrenty issue.
Then it sprung a leak, and they said it was because I mounted an electric fan to it, did not matter that the leak was inches away from the fan....

I guess my ultimate question is how much of a difference is there between the factory radiator/aftermarket brass compared to an all aluminum. At this point of the build I don't want to just waste money if I don't need to but I also want to get something good.
