My J10 is finally HOME! (lots of pics!)
YEEEE HAWWWW!!
My uncle trailered my J10 to me Friday evening.
For those that are unaware of the story of woe of this project, here it is:
I drove my new J10 for 50 miles (long post)
Here I am, backing it off the trailer:
Note the pole barn in the background.
I dunno what it was built for, but it's 32' x 24' and ultra tall!
Here it is parked, next to my '93 GMC Van
Close up the repair
New front springs. Stock Height

After reading your previous post and all you went through I can only imagine the relief you're feeling at having it home finally. Congrats.

Yes, it was repaired with parts from a '79 Cherokee Golden Eagle.
Sadly, the hood is the worst part and I will need replace it when I go to get it painted.
The first project is to get to run smooth as it does run sorta rougher than I had remembered.
It's outta time and needs a tune up bad
I may even rebuild the 2150 carb if I do not replace it with a 4BBL.

I remember this well. Bryan, glad you finally got her home. Enjoy it. Nice rig even though there is something missing above the windshield.

Need to get it to run right.
I'll begin with a basic tuneup, plugs, wires, cap, rotor...
...or maybe a HEI setup.
Then rebuild the 2150 or replace it with a 4BBL carb
I've been avoiding it...but looks like I need to break down and purchase a good timing light.

I remember when that happened and it was quite the buzz kill.
I had 8-10 brow jokes race through my head, but cant decide on one, so I'll let it slide this time, LMAO. I think the others beat you enough...
Glad to see it coming along for you.
