Any experience with these gears?

ZG D44-456T $137.11
USA Standard Ring & Pinion gear set for Dana Spicer 44 in a 4.56 ratio. USA Standard Gear offers a lower cost alternative to other manufacturers when price must be kept low. USA Standard Gears are not recommended for quiet running vehicles. USA Standard Gear offers a standard one year warranty against defects on their ring & pinion sets. This is a thick gear for a 3.73 & down carrier.

Has anyone ever installed a set of these gears? The price is right, but will they last at all?

This will be for my '78 J10 on 38's. Not a DD.

We sell a lot of Genuine Gear and I can get you Dana 44 gears 4.56 R&P for less than that:

$130 (or less) IFSJA price.

I personally run these and don't think they are loud at all. We have had real good luck with them, never had to warranty one set.

I need thick gears.

Do you have D44 4.56 thick gears? If so, will buy two sets from you.
