    Air cleaner housing vacuum line

Where does the vacuum line from the air cleaner housing temperature sensor hook up to?

I know it attaches somewhere on the intake manifold.

A picture if you have one is appreciated.

Usually the fitting on the manifold behind the carb.

In a 79, the one on the bottom of air cleaner goes to manifold vacuum, usually drivers rear intake manifold has a fitting. The other end goes to the air cleaner flapper.

The one on the upper part of the air cleaner is for egr. The carb ported vacuum splits and goes to the egr cto on the front of the drivers side block, the two port cto. The other end of that cto goes to the air cleaner temp sensor, the one on the top rear of air cleaner. The other end of that air cleaner sensor goes back to the egr.

Can one of you take a photo of the top of your engine with the air cleaner off? Mine has been bubba'd to death and I am trying to replace some of the missing vacuum ports. I have a 78 J10 btw.

The manifold vac sources are an npt fitting with one or more hose barbs sticking out of them.
The one on my '85 is barely visible behind the PCV in the labled photo in post 9 of this thread. Also go down to post 19, and there's one in the center of that person's photo (cap on one of the hose barbs).
