That's awesome, thanks for sharing Elliott
yep it's a museum piece, too bad it's not for sale : thriftside + dually + small rear window..Just need a 327 to be 100% perfect

"special order" plate or original paperwork ?
If there is no special order plate i guess it means indeed that the rig was ordered as a "cab and chassis" and the bed, rear bumper, tailgate.. were added at the dealership not from the factory

Does anyone know what the added crossmember and what looks like a snatch block is for? It looks like the block is wired up out of the way.

My guess would be dragging logs out of the forest. It did say it was used as a logging truck. Either way I now want to make my own out of a less rare J-truck and drop a built to a stupid level Cummins in there.
Smells like steak and seats 35, CANYONERO!!! Whoa, Canyonero, whoa!

I dig also the winch, the early compass option on the dashboard and the radio. I imagine the big smile of the first owner when he finally got the truck.. .Certainly something strong between the first owner and the truck since i understood that he kept it until his death

So it probably didn't cross his mind to drop another engine in it, since the engine in it looks well cared for like the owner loved it the way it was.

Wait, people can love stock drivetrains? Wow.

I love how arguements end as soon as Ristow comments. Ristow is right...again.
