    Better battery cables

Jeepcables.com is just across the river in Vancouver, Washington. He makes Battery Cable kits for other Jeeps.

I'm going to have him make a kit for my 81 Cherokee. I'll probably have him make a couple of extra ground cables.

Would there be any interest in others wanting upgraded cables?

I think of this because back in the day my dad added larger 1 or 2 gauge Positive, battery/ solenoid to starter and battery negative cables to his 78 jeep and that seemed to help with the hot start issue he had.

I suppose could have just been the fact that there were replaced with new?

They're easy to make. I have a video on my channel The Slab64:
Today Rocky shows you how to build your own cables for your FSJeep

irrelevant story: I needed a short cable for my welding table. Had the 00 stuff, went to the welding supply for the terminals.

"Can you crimp these for me?"

Took it in back and came out with them bashed on with a hammer. At least he didn't charge me for the labor.

What brand is the crimping tool? How many tons of pressure? 10?

          Thanks for making the videos.

I would not expect that. Seems like they would have a crimping tool.

There is a crimping tool that uses a hammer.
The heavy-duty hammer crimp tool easily sets and crimps battery terminals/lugs to your cable. Free shipping on orders over $99!

I thought they would, that's why I asked him to do it.
