Dash pad - what years will work?

Replacing the windshield in my 1980 J10 soon and seems like the perfect time to fix my HORRIBLY cracked dash. What years will work with my truck? Mine is so shattered I'm pretty sure it's beyond repair so I need a donor.

replacing a dash looks like a daunting task.

it's not too bad after you pull the windshield.

Cherokees are slightly different. They don't wrap the passenger side like wags and trucks do. They will fit, but you may have some holes to fill.

Mine doesn't wrap the passenger side. It has that handle thing. BUT I found one that does wrap the passenger side. Question is can you make one that wraps the passenger side fit on a truck that had one that didn't. Is it as simple as taking the handle off??

It should be. You might need to drill a few more holes for the padded drop section that covers where the handle goes.
