Hello everyone! I have been slowly working on a custom build, Project Outlae, for the last few years. I know it isn’t a FSJ, but many components I’m using in mine came from one.

    Vehicle: 1987 Mazda B2200
    Engine: SBC 283
    Transmission: TH350
Xfer case: NP203 with old school Mile Marker kit
Suspension: leaf springs, front from CJ5 rear, rear is modified Mazda pack
Axles: Dana 44 front (closed knuckle) and rear from 73 J2500.
Plus a whole lot of custom.

    Couple questions.
#1, setting front pinion angle, the pumpkin is pointing towards the ground. I want it pointing towards the transfer case. Worried about screwing with the caster. What are proper camber/caster specs for the front?

#2, the front axle was converted from drum to disc brake. I’m in need of new calipers (seized solid) and pads. Rotors are surprisingly good. Any idea what vehicle calipers came from?

Once I get home to a real computer I’ll post some pics. Gets a little screwy from mobile.

Well I figured out what brake calipers I need to order, found a thread buried in the archive about the conversion.
Still looking for the camber/caster specs for a 73 J2500.
