Before and After...

Got the lift put on this weekend and boy what a difference! It was a Rusty's 4" all spring lift. All in all it went well, all the bolts came loose with a breaker bar, everything fit and went back together with no major hiccups. A buddy had some 31x10.5 mud terrains in great shape that he didn't need anymore so they went on as well. Enjoy!

Looks great (even if it's not a J-truck).

I never knew Rusty's sold hot babes either.

Jeep looks good! I'm a fan of the Rusty's 4", had one on my '88.

Never hurts to have a hot passenger to make the Jeep look better too!!

I'd imagine the shipping is a bit difficult...

Yeah the wife hopped in there like "look what I did!". Turned out nice, the look and ride are huge improvements. Now on to vacuum lines and then body work. Body is really good except fender bottoms and rocker panels. Then paint...

I concur. Why does the front end look so much lower?

What is the ride like as compared to before you installed the lift? Smoother / rougher / no difference? I know the springs are still settling in, but I'll take your initial impression if you'll share it.

I ask because I'm thinking about ordering the same kit, and I'd like to know what to expect in terms of ride comfort. My current springs are shot, and I'm hoping that new springs will alleviate the teeth-rattling that happens when I hit one of our many potholes... (rough winters = rough roads).

It is an illusion! That spot on my driveway is going downhill so it adds to the filth look, the rear measures a half inch higher than the front. I have nothing to compare to as far as ride since my old springs were completely gone. I think it rides like a truck but definitely not a kidney buster.
