    Mid-West Invasion Thoughts

    It's time for all of us to get together for our yearly meet.
    It has been suggested that we all join up at Rush Offroad sometime in October after the weather cools off. http://www.rushoffroad.com/

    It looks like we can stay there on the property, or possibly at my house since it is so close to the park. I we wind up going to Rush, I plan on staying more than one day.

    Thoughts? Alternate meeting spot?

    Chime in...let's get this thing done.

    Not sure what all they have for camping at Rush. I believe it is all primitive. I need to check into that. I'm up for more than 1 day.

    Maybe we can meet up at Retro's house Friday night and head to Rush for Sat am and spend the night there and wheel some Sunday also then head back. It takes me 1 1'2 hours to get from Retro's house to mine in Northern KY just a few miles south of Cincinnati so we could wheel till Sunday and leave about 3 pm and still have enough time to get back home before dark for those that need to be home for Monday morning.

    We are on some major overtime and it will still be going on in October the way they are talking here. That means I work on Friday nights till midnight or so. Depending on sleep I may drive down right after work or I will be leaving very very early and meet up with you guys Saturday at Retro's or Rush.
    If I remember correct the road that goes past Retro's house is the quickest way down to Rush from this area.
    I will need to find a dog sitter or drag him along although he doesn't like bumpy rides anymore. He might not even be alive by then as he is getting in bad shape now anyway.

        @ 30-35 miles Close enough that AAA can tow me home if I break something.

                              There is also a KOA really close to Rush Offroad park it looks like. Ashland/Huntington West KOA is what google has it referenced as. That could be a nice spot to camp at as well. It's only 20 minutes away from Rush. Looking forward to some Fall camping, hopefully we can find a good weekend!
