Harland Sharp Roller Rockers

For those of you who have them installed... are they noisy?

I did the adjustable pushrod thing, making sure that I have the narrowest stripe right down the middle of the valve stem and added the lifter preload for pushrod length. Am fairly confident I'm set up right.

Am super quiet at startup, then after the oil heats up it gets 'clicky'. Not horrible like there are pushrods bouncing around, but clicky.

I do have aluminum valve covers and have heard that they let sound through more. Have also read that roller rockers can make noise.

Looking for others who have a similar setup. Should I freak out... or relax, don't worry, have a homebrew.

Sounds like the preload is off a bit? How is the oil flow to the tip of the rocker? Are you using guides? All in all I would not worry about any of it.

Many engines with bigger cams and roller rockers are a little noisy compared to a stocker. If you are confident in preload being correct I wouldn't worry about it.

Cool - not going to worry!

Definitely have plenty of oil going up top, am using guides, and am 100% sure preload is correct.

With solid cam mine are noisy, music to my ears,lol.
I have scorpion on my hyd cam, quiet as stock.
