New Leaf Spring U-Bolts, early FSJ

Where can I get a factory style or upgraded U bolt kit for my 1966 Gladiator? I have the goofy angled, square U bolts and they're awfully crusty and I'm going to have to cut them off. Would like to stay stock or get a simple bolt on replacement. Thanks.

Any spring shop will make you up some new U-bolts.

Yes, and replace the 7/16" bolts with 1/2". You'll need to open the holes on the lower plates a little.

I reversed mine and used later thick D44 plates on them.

I get mine made at FleetPride. Any spring shop can make them. I've always used the stock setup and stayed at 7/16". Never had any problems.

How about new front springs (stock)? I'm working on an 8 lug disc brake conversion and my springs are pretty crusty and I think a few are broken.
