1983 Cherokee Laredo side rubber trim

My 83 cherokee Laredo has this rubber trim on the side. I can't seem to find annother jeep that has it. Was this a dealer option or something from another vehicle that a PO might have installed. Thanks

Might have been dealer installed but looks like a common stick-on door guard sold by the roll or by the foot.

Didn't get the best picture but it's a aluminum frame with rubber that goes into a channel. There are also slanted metal end caps on the piece on the other side.

I'm with Joe. I think it's a dealer or aftermarket part. I have seen any like that i my limited time with FSJs.

That's what I wanted to hear. I was afraid I might have had some rare special option and I'd never find replacements.

Ended same bay I told you it was a yellow 1974 Cherokee in Oregon 6528.00 unmolested factory original first year Cherokee Narrow track. Just looked at ad and seen chief emblems on a narrow track that seams strange to me. Only because I have chief emblems to put on mine and did not think they put Cherokee head emblems on narrow tracks

Thats a strange jeep. Slightly different rubber pieces than mine.
