    Bolts for Cast Aluminum Valve Covers

    I want to put these on today (Bulltear cast aluminum valve covers) and the stock bolts from the stock stamped steel valve covers are too short... longer bolts from the hardware store will work, yes?

    That's what I did for the covers on my 455, used stainless and had to cut them down slightly so they didn't bottom out before they snugged down.

        I had studs that I used on a bbc with cast valve covers.

          Use studs, They are much much better
