    New Member from Italy

    Hi
Having owned three Wagoneers when young (a pretty rare sight here in my Country) I just found an incredibly well preserved example from 1989 with just 22k original miles, and therefore at 58yrs I am again a Wagoneer (in this case Grand) owner. The car it was imported here in Italy when almost new in the same year it was built, and it had just two owners that basically never used it. Paint and interior looks brand new, the only thing is the headliner material that went partially detached, I will have it glued back in place soon.
Merry Christmas and Happy New 2020 to you all.
    Mauro

Hello and welcome!! Of course we want to see a picture or two. And with such low miles it must be a super find for you. They are really good rigs and fun to drive. There is a lot of good information that can be found here. Lots of fantastic build threads going on too. And happy holidays to to you also. It is going to be the new year before you know it.

Welcome!!! Sounds like an awesome rig!!! wow!

Here are some ways to post pics. Its a pain at first but once you get the hang of it, its not really a big deal.

I've noticed some threads come up about people having problems posting photo's to the site here. I have always found it pretty easy, but I figure I can show others (with pictures;) )how I do it, and maybe we can get some more pics of some kick ass Jeeps here! Generally, this process should work the same way from other 3rd party

Glad you are here! Looking forward to seeing you around!

Ooooh! Your name on here has the word "racing" in it.... whats your plane for this rig after your headliner is fixed?

Rang-a-Stang the idea is just to use and enjoy it, and keep the Wagoneer in original state as it is. The MBRACING name is because when I was younger I raced cars a lot, also in the USA (I did the Daytona 24 Hours race several times, plus many other IMSA and SCCA races).

                    Hi levelhead
                    I did the Daytona 24hrs. 4 consecutive times, from 1994 to 1997.
I raced with GTS-1 Class cars like tubolar-framed Chevy Camaros and Montecarlos, and with a special Porsche 911 prototype in 1997. That car was having the engine in the middle instead of in the back like the “normal” 911s. My best result was an 18th overall and first of the privateers in 1994. I finished all the 24 hours I did.
More recently I won my class in the Daytona 24hrs. Classic twice, with the very same Camaro I used in 1994, now owned by a Swiss enthusiast that kindly did invite me to race again there. An historic driver on an historic car!
                    Regards

Unfortunately despite the instructions received I’m still unable to upload the pictures, sorry! Let’s hope there will be an easier way, one day.

That's fantastic. To finish all the races is a feat in itself. In one of the races we were walking through the garages when they wheeled in a 911 that looked absolutely destroyed. We stood and watched the Porsche team roll in cart after cart of new parts and repair this car in a little over an hour....it was unbelievable ! Congratulations on your win in the Classic and your purchase of an American classic.
