Undo a "fix" for the forum

Back when the site was likely to go off the net, there was a time when it was gone and someone suggested a fix to keep accessing it.

Well, the problems have been resolved, and now I can't access the site from home ... because I can't remember how to undo the fix that somehow redirects the site requests to another address.

Anybody recall what I did and how to undo it?

it was a dns problem, fix was to add manual entry to hosts file with site name/ip address.

find your hosts file and remove the entry
