Hi from Kansas and North Dakota

My wife and I have owned numerous Jeeps over the years, but now have:

    1966 Super Wagoneer
    1969 Super Wagoneer
    1979 J20
    1983 Cherokee Laredo
    1981 CJ8 Scrambler
3 FC 170s that will one day make 1
    '05 TJ Rubicon

I've enjoyed reading your posts and someday I may have something useful to say. Hopefully I learn how to properly post, as my first attempt I accidently hit post reply under another introduction, so I posted to his. Sorry about that.

Very nice list of Jeeps you have, and welcome! Maybe one day you can figure out how to post pics, would love to them.

I'll work on getting some pictures posted. I'm not much of a photographer and barely computer literate, but I'll try.

Super Wagoneer Bill of Sale 001.jpg

Original registration certificate showing E.F.Kaiser was the original owner. He registered it on Feb 14, 1966 and paid $4,400.00 for it. This is the same E.F. Kaiser from Kaiser Jeep. This Jeep is the prototype that was brought around the country to show dealers the upcoming Super Wagoneer. There are things about this Jeep that's one of a kind to Supers. For example, it never had a vinyl roof. The drip rails go all the way to the back like a normal Wagoneer. Apparently the Kaiser children (including Edgar Jr.) had a band called "The Carousels" so there's hand painted carousels on the doors. The only other car that had these was a yellow Henry J car that was also specially built for Edgar Kaiser. Even at that it's still serial # 100037, so where did the first 36 go? Wish Kaiser Corp. would have kept better production records. I'll try and post some pictures tomorrow.

Have land and cabin in the Turtle Mountains (hills) north of Bottineau. About 6 miles from Canada. A couple of the Jeeps are left up there to drive when we're there.

The '69 Super is actually on it's way to me now. I originally bought the 66 to drive, but once I found out what it was and only 51,xxx original documented miles I just couldn't. The '69 is Prairie Gold, drivetrain is pretty modified but body and interior pretty stock. Engine is a 1970 Buick 455 stage 1. Trans is stock TH400, T case stock Dana 20, axles are Dana 44s with lockers at both ends. Should arrive at my place Tuesday, I'll try and post some pictures. The '69 is serial number 300175 so one of the last.

                    Some iphone pictures, maybe???

Just pulled it from the garage, I know it's dusty. Hopefully these post.
Okay, tried to upload and it says this file type exceeds data? Can someone let me know how to post these pictures, or do I need to try the photobucket route? I'm sure I'll be equally skilled at that too.

                    try this?

Pretty cool piece of history there! Does it still have the 327 in it? I really like mine

It does still have the 327 Vigilante 4 barrel. As far as I cam tell it's 100% original. I know the hub caps aren't correct, but the correct ones are in the back. I actually took it for a little drive while I had it out today, and it runs and drives very nice still. A complete restoration is in its future, just waiting for some old photos from the Kaiser family so I get it right.

Thanks for the pics. This two tone paint is a special order or it was repainted at some point. There are also chrome moldings on the hood and on the front fenders which are not standards. Interior is very clean, looks like the central armrest is also non standard

Thanks, going to be restored back to original once I find out what original is. If you saw in the photobucket pictures, it also has a crank down rear window, but it's electric too. Only one I've seen like that so far. It also has an air deflector on the roof above the rear window, haven't seen that on any others yet either. Some of the two tone paint is original, but not all. The tan on the bottom isn't supposed to be there, but the roof is original and the tan stripe under the metal side panels is original. I'll post some pictures once I find some originals from the Kaiser family.
