            its coming along

The cab extension seems to be the most simple aspect of this project...
The seating and interior detailing are beginning to become difficult......I would love to be in an area that isn't rusted away...I envy you west coasters.......Anyone have a bucket seat from a 2 door FSJ????

                interior

Just came back from the bone yard...........found a 2001 Dakota extended cab with a tan interior......I plan to use the complete rear seat set up/ side panels and seat base and possibly the front buckets/console for the interior....
got the whole thing including all the seatbelts and OEM scissor jack that fits in the rear base for $225.............pictures will follow ....keeping my fingers crossed on the front seat base matching up to the GW power seat bases.

Great find. Really interested if they will fit the base.

                    and on it goes

The frame hit the floor this week Rebuilding the front D44 and paint.

you may beable to see that the crossmember with the trans hump is no longer in the factory position..we moved it rearward 12" to accommodate the stretched cab

Fotos are of the back of a 98 Dakota ..cab and a half.
The interior is a pretty darn close match up (in size)to a J truck that is stretched 12 inches.
This front seat is a direct fit (bolt up) to a FSJ power seat frame...AND it has forward tilt!!

I grabbed the entire interior 40-20-40 front seats and rear seat/storage box/ full surround trim and the OEM jack and full set of seatbelts for $250

                        dash overlay

These aluminum dash overlays are lazer cut to allow the Vintage air control panel to be inserted in place of the OEM controls.

They are plain and just a hair imperfect...and available ......they would be terrific if covered with woodgrain contact plastic or..??
I am not using them....Contact me via PM ?
