Hey! I don't have an excuse cause mine's inspected, registered (till next August 31 anyway) and insured.
Can I just say I hate the York Fair? I've lived as little as six blocks from the York Fairgrounds for a long time and every year I say "I'm never coming back". The kids or the girlfriend convince me to try again and I say the same thing. It's almost certain to happen again.

Did they still have RC cola in the over priced Coke machines? That still irks me. RC cola tastes like it's name, Rotten Crotch Cola.

I'd be more than happy to meet some of y'all though, 1/2 a gallon North of the fair grounds on 74, turn right, make the next right, can't miss the Wagoneer in the driveway.

If this is too much, one of the mods can delete it. Maybe I won't be as cranky next time around.
1982 Wagoneer LTD, Slushbox, I6 w/ 4.0 head, Explorer rear spring, 4.0 timing set/cover and backwards fuel gauge. How many gallons per mile do you make?
Proper grammar dictates the question is "may I borrow your BFH?" To which I answer "yes, you may, no take the bigger one, you'll need it".

        Smacaoni-
If you want to meet everyone, why not come down Saturday evening and find us in the campground? Or, some of the folks meet up at a restaurant Friday or Saturday evening. Check back and see what people are planning.
1986 Grand Wagoneer, HEI, 4" spring lift, 31" BFG tires, vintage warn winch, 100k mi (mint when I bought it in 2001, now - not so much!)
The Jeep Grand Wagoneer - Someone you know used to drive one of these. Ask me about Mid-Atlantic Full Size Jeep Club events.

I should have her running again by then, I still hate the Fairgrounds, but if ya'll wanna stop by or meet up, I'm up for it.
Right now, I'm "leaning out" so I could really go for a foot ball sized burrito at Roburrito's right now.
I could pretty much go for Roburrito's any time regardless of how over fat I am. They're just outside of the Fairgrounds, I'm not sure if they've got metered spaces or not.
Even if you don't want to meet up but want to know where there's good chow, just ask. I won't steer ya wrong!

I'm planning on driving up for the day on Saturday.

Was it an omen that my '88 GW broke down 2 miles after the purchase and the tow truck broke down bringing it to my house?

                          Oh, crap...

I'm redoing my entire cooling system and all things fuel (from the dropped tank to the block.) I also pulled all things a/c after I found the secondary source of rust in my cab (rat's nest under the dash.)

                          I better get crackin!

If need be, I could tell AAA it isn't running and needs towed to the fairgrounds. Lol.
