    1970 j4000

    I have a rough 1970 j4000 pick up, however it run fantastic. I dont use it any more and Im looking to get rid of it, but dont quite know what it is worth. Can anyone help me? thanks, Chuck.

      In general I would categorize sales like this --

      More than 3K - excellent well cared for trucks with proof of rebuilds and maintenance. Take a look in the for sale section and you will see really nice J-trucks selling between 3000 to 3500 - anymore than that and they likely take months to sell -- frameoff rebuilds asking for 7K or more

      Between $1K and 2K -- good trucks, some rust but repairable...tired but not beat

      Less than $1K -- these are rusted and beat, without beds and usually are $300 or parts rigs -

      I sold a well cared for and documented J4000 for $3,800 a couple years ago and it looked like this
