Thank you. It isn't that pretty up close. I fixed rust, but I didn't bother to straighten anything. It is a purpose built machine and it will get used and abused. The McCain sticker will be off soon to make room for a Campaign for Liberty sticker of some kind.
The xl's are 11.00 x 16.'68 M715, Cummins P-pump 5.9, NV4500, NP205, 14 bolt/Dana 60, 20x10 American Racing Mojave's w/12.50R20 Michelin XL's, relentless rust....

I think it needs some more OD green, those inner fenders don't match! You might worry less about what most people think, if you understood how rarely they do.

Thanks for the compliments. I have been testing/tuning for a month now. It really drives nice. The best mod is 4 wheel disc with hydroboost. It stops like a new truck.
She needs a steering box. The current box is out of a Camaro or something, and the ratio is too quick. I plan to pick up a variable ratio box and possibly go with a ram-assist.'68 M715, Cummins P-pump 5.9, NV4500, NP205, 14 bolt/Dana 60, 20x10 American Racing Mojave's w/12.50R20 Michelin XL's, relentless rust....

A little update. I disassembled the axles for the gear swap right before the holidays. Good timing since the 14Bolt was apparently disassembling itself. Guess I won't be selling the old stuff....
New Detroit out back and a Power Lock up front. 4.56's are a nice gear set for this truck.
And one more picture

LOVE THE TRUCK
Love the truck! I really want to do the same motor swap in my 66! There is a M-715 for sale about 20 miles down the road that I've wanted for sometime. Maybe I should add that to my JEEP list. Thanks for the write up on your truck! It really makes me want to dig mine out of the 3feet of snow we have here.1966 J-2000 w/rusted out floor Flintstone Style!

The quarter killed it!!!
My next projects will be removing the stock winch and installing a Warn M12000, trash the remains of the stock seats for some GM Trailblazer/Envoy seats, and install these transfer case shifters....http://www.northwestfab.com/Shifters.html'68 M715, Cummins P-pump 5.9, NV4500, NP205, 14 bolt/Dana 60, 20x10 American Racing Mojave's w/12.50R20 Michelin XL's, relentless rust....

Haven't posted in a while. I've been driving the wheels off the ol' 715 for the past year and a half. Love the 4BT, but the NV4500 just doesn't have the proper gear spread for a low power diesel. So I am changing everything....picked up a 12 valve 5.9 Cummins and currently hunting for a Allison 1000 or 2000 trans.
I changed the wheels/tires last summer to 12.50R20's They fit much better.
