That's awesome man! I had saved it to PDF before Photobucket crashed incase something happened. Thanks again for the file. I have proven out the bolt circle with a rapid prototype, just haven't sent it off to be cut out of steel.

Yea I am sad to admit I still have not gotten the axles installed. Life has been getting in the way and I have not been able to start on the project yet.

Sorry to revive an old thread but I am building a 14b front axle. I pressed one tube out and am replacing it with a longer tube.

I am needing to make brake brackets for the the 2001-2010 Gm 3500 dually brakes. I machined my rear hubs and had a water jet cut the backing plate and I bolted the 3500 parking brake, rotors and caliper on my 14b. They work great.

Does anyone still have the files for these brackets so I can finish my new front end?

What did you do to them, add the holes for the knuckle/spindle? I never did have the ability to do that to the files. I did not know the exact clocking of the bolt pattern (since it is no symmetrical) and once I got it done (by hand) I had no way to add it to the files. Same thing with the exact location of the caliper mounting holes. (added after they were cut and mounted, but no way to add them to the files).

Have you done this mod to your axle too? I sent out the files to a few people, but never knew if anyone else ever did it.

Got a little bored and did a little looking online.
Looks like a couple places have started making their own version of this idea.
Gives people the option if they do not have access to a laser cutter business to cut these plates out and make a "home brew" like I did.

<p>Our Ford Dana 60 King Pin disc brake bracket kit allows you to use the superior GM (Chevrolet or GMC) Silverado or Sierra HD factory front calipers, pads, and rotors. These brackets fit the 1978-1991 Ford Dana 60 King Pin front axles, not the Ball join

Yes I added the spindle holes and 1/2” holes for the caliper tabs. I used 1/2” rod as dowels and welded them together. I would post pics but it says max file size is 19kb.
