1977 Jeep Wagoneer Galvanized Metal ???

I just purchased a 1977 Jeep Wagoneer from Richmond, VA last week to restore and it does not have a spot of rust on it. The Seller told me that was because Jeep used a special galvanized metal during the manufacturing process of their 1977 Jeep Wagoneers. I've never heard of Jeep using any special metal during their manufacturing process. I'm sure they used different types of metal over time - but this is the first time I've ever heard a claim that Jeep used a rust proof galvanized metal for their 1977 Wagoneers. Can anyone shed some light on this for me ??? Thank you. Jeff H, Pittsburgh, PA

I'm not saying it didn't happen, but from the looks of all the hundreds (if not thousands) of spot welds on my GW I don't know how you'd put one together made out of galvanized sheet metal.
