Sunflower Mine Trail

Made it through the sunflower mine trail up until the obstacle called "The crack". The only major damage was from sliding in the obstacle and denting the fender.

Yet again Nodoka played the underdog and amazed everyone by running the whole trail without assistance. Anywho, here are the pics:

Six foot man, Rubi Jeep on the Rock Garden (Yes, Nodoka went through that!)

And Nodoka in a tough spot...

Cory,
looks like fun.

BTW, snatch-um straps are pretty cheap and flat out much safer than a length of chain. Next time we are sitting around a camp fire, remind me to tell you about watching a guy get his head cut clear off by a broken flying chain...

Shovels are highly over-rated, besides, any good ranger will let you borrow one when you decide to park with your nose in a ditch.

looks like fun! I can't wait to get out again.

I know what you mean about amazing everyone with our jeeps. One thing I miss about WILL E was the amazment non FSJ folks showed when I would get it some place seemingly impossible to them. I think you have taken that to the next level.

So is there a bypass at the crack? It looks like both you and the small jeep got in trouble there.

The crack is an obstacle to the side. There was another guy that was at the point of rolling in it.
