Fitech installed with command center

Hey, I don't post a whole lot anymore, but in the last couple days I have installed a Fitech system using the command center. So far it is way better than any carb. Completely got rid of my hot start issue. It took about a day and a half and started on the third crank....here's a video:

Nice set up, I would like to use this injection on mine. Do you have a ballpark figure on the cost, and where you made the purchase from?

I got it about a year ago from jegs and just now got to installing it...with everything I have somewhere around 900-1000 in it. That's the basic low price it seems for any fuel injection kit...

I also have msd ignition and cs144 alt and I think that definitely improves the Fitech.

It's a pretty slick system. I had some trouble with starting, but that's only because I made the (apparently common) mistake of wiring up the white wire to accy instead of a constant switched 12V signal and it was dropping off during cranking. But I agree with you...for the price it's hard to beat and way better than a carb.

My brother in law has this on his 74 J20. Loves it. Wish it was smog legal for the 75 and newer trucks
