    258 Valve cover

Mine was leaking BAD and went to change it. I don't know what they used to put the last gasket on but it would NOT come off, I had to do some heavy prying & wedging & more prying.....

Long story short I tore the hell out of one edge of mine and need a replacement. I ordered one on Ebay but it was like an inch shorter and wouldn't clear the rockers so it has to go back.

If anyone has a stock steel valve cover for the straight 6 they want to get rid of I would appreciate a shout.

I have a Clifford aluminum cover. Had it on my '85 258 until I went to the 4.0 head.
