    Ground-UP AC question

Once upon a time my Jeep has AC. But now it has no provisions at all; no compressor, bracket, lines, vents or controls.

If I were to go the aftermarket route, I see ?complete? kits on BJs, but how complete is that, for my situation? If I still need to source and mount a compressor for it to function, would it be easier and/or cheaper to go scavenging all old oem parts?

The easiest would probably be to buy a kit.

I rebuilt a 60's system and there was some trial and error.

    Where in LI are you??

Seems like it. I do still need a regular compressor in the stock location right? I didn?t misinterpret that?

And I?m right about halfway out; in Islip.

I would probably try to source a late model OEM sanden compressor bracket and then go with the BJ?s kit. It?s always nice to know that the parts guys will be able to find the right belts when the time comes.

I forgot to confirm that you have a 360.
