    Christmas is a coming!

    It has been a crazy year for a lot of people, wishing everyone the best. For the past five or six years now, we have been putting up an artificial Christmas tree. Our kids are older now and it was a way to save some time and money, so that's the route we took. Wanting to try and do something fun with the family, I suggested we go and get a real tree this year. Wanted to try and end a pretty crappy year, with some positivity. Plus we have a running, driving, and oil leaking Wagoneer now!!!!! So that's what we did. Here are a few pics. Farm was about 25 miles away in Pearl River Louisiana. A 45 acer farm called Shady pond tree farm.

    This is the tree we picked, about a ten footer. we wanted something smaller, but most of the smaller trees were gone. Our kids are on each end, sons girlfriend is in the middle. I know, daughter needs a new pair of jeans.

                      Nice. Both the truck and the tree.

                      Reminds me of one Christmas about 50 years ago. We cut a tree out in the yard to use. Maybe three or four inches at the base. We left one branch at the base and my dad bent it up and staked it.

                      It's about 18 inches now.

                          What an awesome thread! Thanks for posting!

                          My boss and I are heading out of town for Christmas and neither of us felt like decorating inside the house. So all we did was hang Christmas lights outside. My Cherk is AFU so no good Christmas FSJ pics.
