I did notice that they have FCs in the same class as FSJs so if that yellow FC 170 from the Jeff Daniels Show shows up, we don't stand a chance! I didn't see any FCs at York last year.

I received a reply from Rick Bear at Pa Jeeps. He confirmed my suspicion that class 6, as well as classes 1,11, & 12 will have only three overall trophys to be awarded. Stock, modified, and unlimited will be competing against each other for a single 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophy. The decision was made due to two main factors. Class participation and the poor economy. I don't like it but I guess it could be worse (Jeff Daniels show) and they could award a trophy for 1st place only. This should make things very interesting.

Well doesn't that bite, and here we were hoping we could get the J-Trucks and the Waggy's split so they wouldn't have to compete.
I'll still be there (not sure about the Jeep though).Dave Pitts, located directly over the center of the earth!

Wow...sure didn't look that way from the entry form. That really sucks!
That may further drive down FSJ participation, what with having to pay $50 to get to park your rig out by the Ring-O-Dust. Some folks last year were saying that was biggest turn out of FSJs ever.....now they're going to dumb it down. Guess thats what happens when 400 little Jeeps and only 40 "others" show up. Maybe they could give us discount...yeah right.
Kinda makes you feel like the ugly redheaded step child!Last edited by 2ToneBluJ10; 04-15-2010, 09:55 AM.Dave

PA Jeep show
Right now that show is best place for origional Jeeps.
If they start making more & multile trophies for the TJ's (and less for the vintage iron) that are so polular because.....well.....there is so many of them......
The die hard "old timers" will stop coming, and it'll just be TJ & JK's.
I want to attend this summer, and trying hard to work it into schedule....
If it wasn't a 2 day drive each way, I'd show up with something.
I never understood why there is not a Jeep show in TX, I personally know alot of nice older Jeeps. Guess southerns's take vintage iron for granted & rust belt Jeepers value them? Who knows.
We have water trucks to settle the dust at 4 wheeler mud runs in TX, don't cost but 200 per day.Last edited by red mistress; 04-15-2010, 12:04 PM.67 Gladiator 15K J3000 AMC 327, PTO, 35" BFG's

With all classes of the FSJs lumped together this is the rig that will win this year.
Little jeepers (In my mind) are always gonna vote the highest and shinniest. Lets see where'd I put my extended height jack stands!Dave

Maybe he just needs someone to show how it's done?
Wouldn't be the first time some one said "Well if the girl can do it..."1986 Grand Wagoneer, HEI, 4" spring lift, 31" BFG tires, vintage warn winch, 100k mi (mint when I bought it in 2001, now - not so much!)
The Jeep Grand Wagoneer - Someone you know used to drive one of these. Ask me about Mid-Atlantic Full Size Jeep Club events.

Still haven't sent in the registration form in and will do so reluctantly. Still a little ticked about them lumping all the FSJ classes together. You know it's bad when your car's on the EPA's 10 most wanted list!

As for the trophies, I can understand the need to cut back and stuff.. I mean last year there were nine fsj trophies. BUT this lumping them all together just isnt fair to the people with all original/stock rigs. Does Zack know about this?1984 J10
