display options question

somehow my settings have changed, i prob did it by accident.
when i enter into a particular forum the default setting is showing post/thread active in the last 10 days.

i know how to look at posts in a longer time frame via the Display Options window at the bottom of the page. isn't there a way to make the default 'From the..." option greater than 10 days?

I don't know if this will change the default. However, there is a pull-down at the bottom of the forum. Select "From Beginning" and the click on the button "Display Threads."

yeah, i've seen that and that's where i'm trying to figure out how to make Beginning the default.

if i select Beginning, click on a thread, then come back to the Home Page for that Forum it goes back to 10 days.

i'm glad being slow isn't painful. otherwise i'd be hurting.
