Kicked it outside to free up the garage bay for me to check out the steering linkage and brakes on my Rambler.

I love how arguements end as soon as Ristow comments. Ristow is right...again.

I got it a 1995 BMW 540i/6...

Now, once I get my garage in order, I can finish the damned thing without having to worry about it being off the road.

For the record, I've put over 50,000 miles on it since the LY5/4L60E swap!

After I took the ol' wagon off the road (due to winter) I started doing some more metal work. I think I have all the holes in the floor fixed now. I recently fixed the passenger front floor pans.

Not fancy, but all sealed up top-and bottom!

...and last week, I just finished up (1st round) body work from the woodgrain down. I was getting sick of all the scrape marks, rusty spots, flaking paint, spots and other stupid issues with the crappy re-spray a previous owner had done. Since I wanted to clean that up, I also cleaned up my rockers and put new metal on them. I still want to paint it all body color, but I have to wait a bit to get the paint from the "automotive touchup" company.
Even though I wasn't very fancy with this(now welding and I used metal that I had sitting around), I think it came out pretty good!

and my new-personal favorite photo of the "magnificent" Crapwagon!

A set of freshly build J-20 axles with lockers, etc.
The rear D60 is technically a whole new axle build by East Coast Gears since my housing had a spun bearing. New housing, some seriously monstrous tubes, Grizzly locker. And they even welded on the spring perches and shock mounts for putting under the wagoneer frame.
The front D44 was completely rebuilt with the addition of a Trutrac.

And as a stocking-stuffer, It looks like a set of solid metal WT rear flares will be coming my way from a fellow member here! So project WT Waggy is back on!

...and a happy new year!

(must admit i am a little jealous of the new travel buddies you guys are posting. The bride was caught on film playing with a chocolate lab pup this week, but we have two geriatric 15-year old mutts that aren’t so keen on getting bumped around by a youngun)

The front leg propped up on the arm rest is perfect! He/she looks very focused on the road ahead.

Thanks. It's my second E34--had a '93 M5 several years back. This one is a 540i/6-speed, one of only 1357 imported to the US. She just got new wheels and tires.
