Cherokees have a different dashpad?

Was looking thru my brochure. the chero dash dont seem to cover the right side of the dash like the Js or the wags.

is this true, or the brochure is wrong?

I never really made rhyme or reason, to the full dash pad vs. the part dash pad, and the grab bar on some not others. If someone has the definitive answer as to the option package(s) that set that I would be interested.

That is about what I came up with From what I have seen often than not the Wagoneer's got the full pad and Chrokees/Trucks got the part pad and grab bar, but I have seen mixes that seem stock but don't seem to follow any "rule"

Not if you put the ut-oh handle in. Just my opinion since my cherokee has it.

I'm pretty sure the slimmer pads and grab handles where part of the S package on Cherokee's and the Custom package on trucks. Of course the higher level trims had them as well. The Wagoneer was never available with them.

I prefer the full pad on Wagoneer's myself.

Part of the S package makes sense. And honestly how many parts get swapped around over the years. An old mod may look stock simply due to age.

Don't forget that the assy line workers were apt to do whatever struck them at the moment, and Jeep's never failing ability to mix and match parts from different years...
