Mine sits on 36 swampers and stock springs so you will be fine there..If you plan on flexing it out you will have to do a little trimming..otherwise you will tear up your rocker panel ask me how I know..

        Or,
76 thru 93 Dodge W300 or W350 1 ton truck (except 89 thru 91 D61/D71 for CTD). This used the D60/D60 (and later D70) combo.
Both front axles are SOA. Both front axles are passenger side drop. So, a passenger side drop transfer case would have to be installed as well.
Another good thing about the Dodge axles are that the 72 thru 93 axles were the narrowest of all the light truck axles found on the big 3's trucks of that era. Meaning, it's a great fit width wise for the Wagoneer.
I know this is an old thread but will the axles from a '71 3/4 ton work?

The front is probably closed knuckle, both will have oddball parts. I would pass. A 80's dodge would be better and can be found for dirt cheap most places.

First choice.......14 bolt rear, D60 front.....

Second choice...Go find a rear D60 from a J20..move the perches...done...Take the front 44hd and swap it....or just swap the front hubs. or get 10 bolt chevy fronts like me...

IF you plan for spring over...okay..but I would strongly suggest you roll the front axle if low pinion. If high pinion....cool. But w/ low pinion...caster is screwed if you roll it to lessen dshaft angles. Probbly plan for high steer just the same.

A little far for you, Corey, but there is a ford high pinion 44 in a '77 f250 at the yard in sun valley, ca.

In years past, I would be all over it. This weekend I am here for a wedding.

                    Pick a part sun valley.

                    You can see it online.

I figure that I will regret leaving it behind, in the future. I spent a week stripping the j20 in the yard in May, I think that I have enough axles. High pinion is rare, though.......

I can send you a pic if you want.
