My ol Waggie has a set and no real complaints here, except for where the flange is on the x over makes dropping the sump a bit of a horses butt. Ended up making some mods to the baffle plate when I did my RMS recently. Cheers

The best quality, and fitting header I have ever came across. Can't tell you yet how it sounds going down the road, but when its running in the garage it sounds good to me. Hopefully by next summer it will be on the road...!

I will be installing mine today. They look great. Already happier than the Edelbrock Shorties I had before. Hopefully install will be smooth.

Mine are holding up. Have had them on for almost 5 years. No leaks, but I was able to put them on on the engine when it was on the stand. And was able to tighten the bolts correct. Good luck taking the manifolds out.

Do yourselves a favor and order some locking bolts like these Stage 8s from Jegs (yes I know they say Chevy, but they are the same size listed for AMC at about $30 less!)
Chevy $49.99
http://www.jegs.com/i/Stage+8/868/8911-A/10002/-1
AMC $79.99
http://www.jegs.com/i/Stage+8/868/8956/10002/-1

Either that or carry spare bolts or plan on retightening them on a regular basis! For example the first time I went to Ouray by the time I had gotten there I had lost 4 bolts in a 350 mile trip and the rest were loose

Thorleys

I've had mine installed for 9 months now and I don't have any complaints. I installed mine with remflex gaskets. I havent had a bolt get loose yet. I installed them with the BJs exhaust kit and the jeep sounds awesome.

Only torqued my down once I pit them on and once they got hot.5 years and no leaks. I used remflex gaskets with the supplied hardware.

My only beef with the thorleys is that they aren't set up for dual exhaust. It would be nice if they were.

Anyone have pictures of these? How about a closeup of the ports? Are they dogleg ports?

I hope Streetglide doesn't mind me linking his thread, but this is what sold me:

I plan on putting mine in bed with me when they arrive. I hope the wife doesn't mind. It'll only be for a few days.
