Wow.

Thank you Ben. For taking the Honcho to a level I never would've accomplished.

I need to say a huge thanks to Heime as he is the reason that the Honcho made it to the top. Thanks to his 20 min trail side carb tuning I was able to reach the top of several passes.

Cant wait until next year with fuel injection and other trail upgrades.
I think we did good this year for taking a truck that I had only owned for 2 weeks before the trip.

I copied his card and will make a DVD for anyone who wants it of a bunch of high-res pics. I am just going through them and taking out the bad shots and such trying to get it down to dvd size.

I am seeking older pic of one the Ouray FSJ trips, where a Wagoneer and maybe another FSJ are going down Engineer (I think I am correct), the grade looks super steep and in the background can be seen the town of Ouray.

Go to www.JubileeJeeps.org and look through Flint and Krista's pics. They have all the years there grouped out.

I think you are thinking about Black Bear Pass with a view of Tohelluride way down at the bottom.

I believe you can see it from Imascream pass trail also.

I've not been up Engineers Pass yet but where it is located I don't think a city view is possible.
Bryan you are so gonna love it out there next year. I do hope you are bringing the whole family. I'll be there from Sunday 7/15 thru Sunday 7/22. Give yourself plenty of time in CO. , you won't regret it. I'll be snaking my way up to Billings, MT when I leave for the
Great American Hill Climb the following weekend.

There is one super steep stretch on Engineer just before the lookout or w/e the proper name is. Don't think any town is visible but it is STEEP.

Borrowed this from Phil

I remember that spot. We barely had room to skinny around the pickup with the popup.

Black Bear trail. Not for the faint of heart. I refuse to do it because of the steep tiny switchbacks and narrow trails. I'd suggest you ride shot gun on this one before attempting with your own rig. Especially in a long bed truck.

LOL riding shot gun would scare the heck out of me. I remember the year Derek (after his recent roll over) ended up walking down half the trail because he didn't want to ride along.

A long wheel base truck will add the the difficulty but it's not impossible. Just a few more points on the switchbacks.
