Back from the paint/ body shop..!

Well, the most expensive part of this project is finally coming home in pieces.
Maybe by next, to mid summer it will be on the the road, cause right now I 'm really broke after this process.
Hope you like it....!
If I had to do it over again, I'd buy one already done and save a ton of money...........maybe?

Still a long way to go yet on this project, Need custom front and rear bumpers, bucket seats, tilt steering column and tires to name a few things.

Paint color is; Rescue green metallic....
I'm not sure what the official name of the bed liner is. I know its thicker and more rubber like than Line-X.

i thought that was the rescue green... looks great. i kept thinking it would look good on my wag, except i dont ever plan on making the body straight enough to spend that kind of cash on paint.

Wow, that is gorgeous. I'm not a big fan of rescue green, I remember when Jeep came out with it a few years back. (Was it for a certain anniversary?)

But it looks beautiful. Can't wait to get mine painted what day.

WOW! I know what it took to get mine painted and show worthy, it is nowhere near as nice as yours is going to turn out... Yours finished would have blown me out of the water for the 1st I got at the mopar/AMC/Jeep show this year.

i was never a fan of that color seeing it on the wranglers. but it looks awsome on the truck. i think that would look just as good on mine.

Thanks for all the complements guys..!
I really liked the way it turned out myself.

Wasn't sure about my color pic at first, having not being able to see what it might look like covering this much steel.

The guys at the body shop also had there doubts on how it would look on something this size. But after they sprayed it, they change there minds.

Its not without a few little issues on the paint job here and there that could be addressed after I get it back together. But from what they had to start with, it tuned out better than I thought. The Bed and tailgate needed the most work.
On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being show quality, its about a 7.5 and that's what I asked for from them. By tomorrow the Cab should be sitting back on the chassis......
