It appears to be the original paint and interior. Engine runs nice, tranny shifts good and I know that the T-case works 'cause I had to drive it home about 8miles on the street in 4wd with the hubs locked. Now I just have to figure out if I am going to look for another wt rear axle or go 3/4t axles.

axle

what is wrong with the axle? Maybe it just needs a gear set??? Seems to me that if it moves using the front axle,......you may have a transfer case issue, after all what can go wrong in an axle that allows you to keep rolling ?
The ring and pinion break and most likely you wont be going anywhere.

Very Nice score BTW......

looks cool. id have to go with a dana 60 or 14 bolt in the back and 44 or 60 front spring over. maybe just leave it spring under and convert the front to 8 lug.

How are the flares? That looks like a really nice Laredo. I'm impressed with how good it looks in that one picture.

Waiting on those pictures.......

what rear axle? 14b or D60? what vehicle should I look in? Ford,GM,Dodge? I have already thought about the F250 D44HP for the front and SOA.

One of the Cherokees I converted, I had a set of J20 axles, the other I used a Ford rear 60, and changed the hubs on the front. The J20 set was 3.73, and I wanted to keep the 3.54 on the other so I used the ford 60. That was the cheapest route, 3.54 D60 rears here are cheap as dirt.

i think id go with a dana 60 if you are going to run 35 or smaller. 14 bolt is pretty big. you probably wont find either with a 3.31 to easily.
