Wanna Post My Jeeps!!!

I'm sick of lurking in the shadows and enviously looking at all the awesome jeeps on here!!! After unsuccessfully trying to post my Wags on here for the past week (I realize the forum is closed), I'm humbly admitting that I dont know enough about these here computer thingys to figure this out! Is there someway that I can post my Jeeps? Its about time I come to terms with this whole Jeep disorder thing, and this appears to be the best support group around! Thanks guys and gals.

There is more than one way to do this!!
Upload your images to Photobucket, 640x480 is the best size.
I open two windows: one with Photobucket, the other with the thread.
Copy the direct link in Photobucket
start a reply
click on the yellow icon that looks like a mountain.
Remove the http://
paste the direct link
that’s it.

Welcome Capt, from Bedford county! Thats quite the list of Jeeps you've got! We'll have to catch up some time. I'm in Windber atleast 2-3 days a month, Sometimes more depending on what the club's got going on.

there is an option in pbucket to auto resize them, if you happen to have more internet speed than time/knowledge to resize them yourself. I think the standard now is 800x600 by default.

you can also just use the bottom option, MiB, with the / IMG in the code. That's the raw code to post pics in a post vs using the Insert Image button in our post options.

You can post your pic's here like mentioned above.

If you want it in the Readers Rig section add it here:
http://www.ifsja.org/forums/vb/showt...hlight=Readers

The Readers Rig section is somehow very prone to spam, I move them over when I get about 4-5 that need attention.

Thanks,
Tad

Welcome to the land of empty pockets and unfinished projects...

Glad to see you have finally come to terms with your sickness and are learning to live with it. We have the BEST support group you will find.

Now, your first step is to read the thread at the top of the Gen Disc titled "Posting Pictures". It will lead you through your first endeavor. It is simple, and we will help if you need it.

If you use the 2nd link, "Direct Link", on Photobucket your pics will show up right here in your thread and not show up as links. That is, if thats hwo you want them to show up.

That CJ6 is sweet. In late 1969 while living in Hawaii my dad got ahold of a 69. Spent a year fixing/modifying it to his liking and then we left for calif. late 1970. He did a fast sale-$2000. Someone else got VERY happy.
